Freshman Seoyeon Yun Song: “Easy Love” by Lauv
“I listen to lots of genres of music. I don’t listen to rap that much, or country or heavy metal, but I like a pretty much everything else … I found this song through my sister’s playlist on Spotify … I like to listen to throwback songs, but not the ones from before I was born that my parents listen to, and I like sad music when I’m in the mood to cry. I listen to music when I do my homework, when I go to sleep, while I’m sleeping, sometimes during class — I listen to music all the time.” |

Junior Aditi KothaSong: “Kika” by 6ix9ine and Tory Lanez
“This song has a really good beat and makes me wanna bop. It’s just, you know, a nice song and I really enjoy the music. I usually listen to rap and hip-hop, so this is up my alley.” |
Junior Julian KimSong: “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen
“I love that song because the vocals are really good and I like the guitar solos. It’s a musical masterpiece. It was like six different stages to the song – like a staircase. I’m an R&B/hip-hop kind of guy. Once in a while, I’ll listen to some soul.” |

Sophomore Shreshta RanganathanSong: “Generation Why” by Conan Gray
“I actually don't know much about Conan Gray, but someone told me to go listen to this song and this is the first time I listened but it was good. I usually listen to rap and pop, so it’s a little different from this but I still really liked it.” |
Senior Evelyn HowSong: “Just You and I” by Tom Walker
“I like slow, chill music, like slow pop or slow country. I use it to study sometimes, or when I sleep. It’s really nice to relax to when I’m in the car driving and it helps me focus.” |

Sophomore Alison LeungSong: “Deceived” by Lil Xan
“My friend showed me this song. What I listen to usually depends on my mood, but mostly R&B. My favorite artist is Brockhampton; I listen to him literally 24/7. Music is my alarm every morning, and whenever I walk to and from school or anytime in between, I’m listening to music.” |
